A Perfect Storm
Our local McDonald's currently has McRib sandwiches for me, and Star Wars Happy Meal toys for, um, the kids. We may be visiting more often than usual over the next couple weeks.

We went to McDonald's tonight (a very rare occurence for us to go out at all), and the kids didn't get Star Wars toys. Evan got a transformer, and Kendra got a Polly Pocket doll. They were both thrilled with their respective toys, but who gets the Star Wars toys!?!

The Transformer and Polly Pocket toys are from about 2-3 months ago. Small town McDonalds must have different rules than big city McDonalds. We're probably going to go out once a week or so now that I'm back in school. It's a good way to unwind on a weekend watching the kids play while I "test" their toys to make sure they're appropriate.

But the McDonald's we were at had the Star Wars display up. I'm not upset, just confused.
