Random Rant
Iowa recently passed a law heavily restricting the sale of pseudoephedrine products. Basically you can no longer purchase anything containing pseudoephedrine any place that isn't a pharmacy. I figured this wouldn't have much effect on me since I never used straight pseudoephedrine. To my horror, some of my favorite cold medications, like NyQuil and Claritin-D, contain pseudoephedrine, and even though it's mixed with other active ingredients that I think would make it awfully tough for anyone to turn them into any sort of desirable meth, they're gone from non-pharmacies too. So I'm suffering through this viral infection or cold or whatever and having a tough time finding my favorite medicines. This law had better be effective against meth.
